I was at work the other day when I was told that someone wanted to see me. This is usually one of two requests, that I was needed to help with an engraving order for something special or that someone wanted to sell me something or donate something. Well, I met with an amazing young lady who was looking for sponsorship to help her with her quest to win the Miss Montana Teen USA contest. I am not usually able to help a single person in this kind of request as I prefer to help larger groups, but Payton impressed me. I asked her questions about her vision for what this would do for her and for others and found her to be articulate, bright and fun. This is the kind of person that can go on and accomplish great things in the world.

So Miss Payton, we wish you great success in your goals. I am sure you will go far and I look forward to keeping in touch with you as you go out and inspire others. If you have a chance to attend the contest, it is in Missoula this year on October 5th and 6th. Go cheer her on. You can follow her on facebook

  1. It is purely by accident that I came across this wonderful post written about my daughter. What a blessing it is to have our paths cross along this journey, because I have to tell you, that after we left your store we felt forever changed by our encounter with you. Even though Payton did not win the crown, we all are so very proud of her and the opportunity she had to grow as an individual through all the ups and downs of competing for such a prestigious event. You have made an investment into Payton that will last her a lifetime. Uplifting words and encouragement are worth more than any dollar amount. It is an honor to call you our friend! You havent heard the last of Payton. She will continue to do just as she promised. She would not be where she is today without you!! You will be hearing from us very soon! Thank you again and many blessings to you and your family!!

  2. Christine,
It was my pleasure to meet your daughter. I know that you are proud of her and I was impressed as well. I am sorry to hear that she did not win, but I know she will go far. I hope that you will keep in touch, so we can cheer her on in whatever she tries.
